About Mr Paling Fence

Our Story

Andrew Liddell founded ‘Mr Paling Fence’ in 2018, but his passion for quality fencing began much earlier. As a young man, Andrew discovered his high aptitude for carpentry. He honed his woodworking skills growing up as an apprentice carpenter before venturing out on his own.

After 12 years of carpentry work, he knew he wanted to make a bigger impact so he returned to RMIT to complete a Bachelor of Business, and in 2008 he became a Registered Building Practitioner.

In 2018, he noticed there was a shortage of quality fence builders. Equipped with practical experience, knowledge in his pocket and tools in his hands, the idea of  ‘Mr Paling Fence’ was born! A local business that takes pride in superior workmanship, providing the best hassle-free service, and only using skilled, experienced fencers so you can always be confident that the fence you have built will stand the test of time.

Reducing Our Carbon Footprint with Greenfleet

Here at Mr Paling Fence, we’re always on the lookout for ways to minimise our impact on the environment.
In partnership with Greenfleet, Mr Paling Fence is helping to fund the planting and ongoing maintenance of native trees across Australia and New Zealand through our Mr Paling Fence vehicle fleet carbon offset initiative. We've assessed our annual emissions to and from project sites and provided Greenfleet with funds to plant trees, create biodiverse forests, improve soil and water quality and restore habitat for native wildlife on our behalf.

Greenfleet are an environmental non-profit organisation and Australia’s leading source of bio diverse carbon offsets that plants native forests that are protected for 100 years. These forests capture carbon emissions to help protect our climate, wildlife and improve our environment. Since 1997, Greenfleet has planted over 9.6 million trees across over 500 forests in Australia and New Zealand.
