Built-in Lattice
Add value to your home with a built-in lattice by concealing unpleasant views and creating greater privacy.
Our Process
A fence with built-in lattice has posts that finish 600mm above the height of the palings.
It has four rails in total. One rail is installed to pick up the top of the palings with 25mm of the rail protruding above the palings. The top rail is installed 600mm above the palings flush with the top of the post. These two rails support the timber lattice which comes in sheets 2700mm by 600mm.
Posts are placed 750mm in the ground and stabilized using 10 kg of cement stabilized soil and 10kg concrete.
A capping timber is then nailed to the top. Capping joints are mitered and nailed with 75mm galvanized nail at 450 spacing.
